Talk#3 with Patrick

My plan for this seminar was to relate connection in the tuishou to connecting to Higher Beings as a major part of spiritual evolution. There exists the Physical-Etheric level where we are part of the Earth. There are Beings on the levels above. So there are energy realms and there are intelligent Beings operating through concentrated fields of energy within those realms. Religions generally talk only of the first 3 energy levels – Physical-Etheric, Deep Emotional, Deep Mental. Trying to explain beyond those 3 to those centred on the external level usually leads to confusion and imagination.

To develop yourself, you struggle to follow the teaching (energy cultivation), purify your motives (self refinement), connect with intelligent beings on the levels above (meditation). In moving from any one initiation to the next, the 1st half is mostly your own effort to refine yourself, while the 2nd half is mainly due to the force flowing down from above.

The inner Self can only receive from above according to the level of your inner refinement. We have spoken extensively in the past on energy cultivation and self refinement, now we are switching to how to refine the connection to those on the levels above us.

Connections form over time, consciously or unconsciously. A relationship gradually forms. Usually you can only connect one level above your own but each human is a complex system with an Inner Guide on the Deep Mental while you begin in the Physical-Etheric. So your system bridges 3 levels. The connection to those above has an exact correspondence to the connection to our partner in the taiji tuishou.

The question is what Beings can we reasonably aim to connect with. Old Teachers’ (past 4th initiation) inner guide (past 3rd initiation), outer teacher (if past 3rd initiation), can all give inner help. If outer teacher only past 2nd then help could come through them from their own teacher. Your teacher knows more about your outer life, etheric life and your Deep Emotions in relation to your outer life and other people in a body. Your guide knows more about your Deep Mental life and your Deep Emotions in relation to your Deep Mental.

Our Spirit connects into the triple layers of our system through the crown of the head, the top of the upper dantian, then from there down into the centre of the head, the pituitary gland. The Guide is also in that place so they have a direct connection with your Higher Self (Spirit on this level can also be called the Higher Self).

When a person develops themselves, they become a small beacon of light on that level. For someone past the 2nd, that’s on the Deep Emotional, while for someone on the 3rd like your Guide that is on the Deep Mental.

You also will have a teacher in a body. If, having made a determined effort, by bad luck you were unable to make contact with a teacher on the Earth someone would be assigned to you without you knowing it.

Everyone developing on the Earth would have some person past the 3rd, or sometimes the 4th, looking after them. Every person past the 4th has someone past the 5th or higher looking after them. That system continues in the higher levels.

When people say they are connected back in a chain of teachers to some past prophet, it is usually imagination. That claimed train of transmission is almost certainly fake. The true connections back don’t follow earthly paths. They can easily shift across teachings, countries, races, in a way unknown to external world. The chain of transmission is no more likely through the family or local group of practitioners than it is through complete strangers.

The system given out by a teacher to offer their teaching through, is unique to their teaching. When they die the structure should be dissolved otherwise it becomes an empty structure which will attract power seeking individuals to climb up through that empty structure and take control of it. Meanwhile the actual continuing transmission will have passed to some other place.

The structure is only there as a form to serve the teachers expression. Then it should be dissolved. If the form was successful then a few individuals will have gradually formed around themselves their own structure to express the same inner teaching in a different way. I saw all these things happening when my teachers died. Some students moved off as they should and others attempted to hold the old structure together, in which they had some investment of course.

These problems happen because people identify with their outer self. They are lost in their attachment to their outer self. They see themselves as of a certain race, sex, age group, career or profession, social class, education. The outer self – the Physical-Etheric body and hereditary essence are given to you from other sources when you enter that body. They are never the real you – just a new outer structure to facilitate what you need to do in this life.

When I was with Abdullah a student came from Hong Kong, where he was born and had trained in a Daoist temple. He practised kung fu and meditation and had some minor etheric powers. During the evening meeting with Abdullah he described some of the high energies emanating from Abdullah, which Abdullah confirmed. The next day I was working privately with Abdullah and he told me this person had been sent to make a connection between his teacher and Abdullah. The Hong Kong teacher was unbalanced due to the development of etheric powers. He had been under training from Li Po although he wouldn’t have known it exactly. Li Po was transferring him to Abdullah and that in some way I don’t exactly understand needed this close contact from his student. After that the student went away, oblivious to the whole internal process he had been led to play out.

One of my students, also a student of Abdullah went to live in an Asian country. He tried to continue his taiji but struggled to find a real teacher. Abdullah told him not to worry but just keep going and he would be looked after. One day when he was practising in the park an old Asian man came up to him and said I don’t know why and I don’t really want to but I’ve been told inside that I should teach you. Li Po had sent him but that teacher didn’t know who Li Po was of course as Li Po was hidden away in the mountains far from normal civilisation.

These are examples of inner connections. Further, I made a connection with Ni Huaching at one stage. Most teachers on the Earth are directly connected to the 2nd Force of the Sun, the 2nd Ray. But Abdullah and Li Po were connected with the 3rd Force of the Sun, the 1st Ray. That’s why they knew each other. There are always 3 of these ‘Keepers of the Keys’ in a body on the Earth. Shortly after that the 3rd keeper died and Abdullah said no one was ready to take his place. So they decided to move Ni from the 2nd to the 3rd Force. These are more examples of inner connections that most people in bodies have little idea exist.

For some years when I was first in Europe I requested Ni to come and help the Europeans. He refused but later he came to visit me in Australia and told the people there he had come to help me in Europe, but he would not come to Europe as that was my connection and my responsibility, not his. Another example of inner connections, hidden and difficult to understand.

In meditation sometimes you may receive information about the hidden inner worlds. Much of the information available to those past the 4th Initiation is unsuitable to be openly released on the Earth. But if you can succeed in calling it down then the information may be released. Your effort to connect to the above creates a channel for it to flow down through. Your aspiration initiates the connection. The analogy with lightening is when it is forming smaller fingers of electrical charge rise up from various points on the ground, then the discharge from above choses the most efficient one and connects down through it to the ground.

Q&A

Q: You have said Abdullah is back in another body. Is it likely we will meet him in this lifetime?
P: Due to my close connection to him it could be possible that my students get to meet Abdullah. He returned to the Earth 30 years ago. Old Masters at his level, passed the 4th Initiation, have the freedom to choose that, but very very seldom do they do it. He told me when he did and I double checked it with Mouniji. When people enter a body the earthly soul is a new one, which has no easy connection to the heavenly soul which is who you really are.

Q: Is it beneficial for us as students to send the light to you in the meditation?
P: Yes of course. I’m sure all my sincere senior students do that. But you should do it from understanding why, not because I tell you to do it – which I don’t.

Q: From the Deep Emotional?
P: No matter where you send it from it will go out on whatever level your energy is centred anyway. The intention can bias that a little but your ground state will be the main effect.

30 years ago I chose the most sincere 70 students and sent the light to them every day for 7 years to do my part in creating a connection. In the meditation I usually advised my students to send the light to the Old Teachers because no one knew their Physical-Etheric self so couldn’t get lost in worshipping that. For my self I set the counter example but I didn’t want relatively low level people worshipping my Physical-Etheric self which is all they could perceive from the level they were on.

No good teacher in the world asks to be worshipped. No higher being does either. There are many teachings where they ask the student to worship the teacher as God. That is not ideal, it carries dangers for the teachers as well as the students. That is what I tried to avoid. In the beginning they could if they chose send light to me as a more experienced person who they respected, in the same way they might send it to any other of their close contacts. Once they were more evolved and could separate between my outer self and inner self to some degree, then they could sent light to me as the teacher.

Q: We already teach sending out light to the Guide and Teachers. Is there anything more we need to know to practise?
P: There are not more exercises but certainly you can refine the process, similarly to connecting in the taiji tuishou. It helps to know with whom you can realistically form a connection.

There are beings at the head of the traditions. Rumi has been managing the Sufis for some hundreds of years. The Buddha himself manages the Buddhist, Daoist and Yogic chain. Abraham was managing the 3 Abrahamic religions. But these change over time.

Q: You connected with Master Ni before Abdullah did. How did you make contact?
P: Through the Taiji. He was close friends with my teacher but that was unknown to me. However another taiji teacher knew both of us and through him I learnt of Ni. Later Ni told me we had a connection from the past Master Huang told me the same thing. Abdullah told me the same thing. Li Po told me the same. That’s why I came to meet them all because its a little unusual to meet so many high-level teachers in one life. It was fated.

Q: When do you learn which force you will come under?
P: It gets decided at the 3rd Initiation but it may be predictable before that. Fated to happen but not exactly certain. As you can see it can change as it did for Ni.

Q: Is remembering why you are here the same as self remembering?
P: Sufis talk about self remembering, which means remember the Divine in yourself. If you are truly remembering why you are here you are remembering your Divine purpose. It connects all parts of yourself to the Higher Self.

Q: What happens if the Guide gets lazy?
P: Its more likely the poor Guide gets assigned to a lazy person. The guide has passed the 3rd Initiation which you don’t achieve without great effort. So there is no such thing as a lazy guide, but they all differ in their efficiency and potential power. They are in training, just as the person they are helping is.

Your inner guide and your outer teacher are your 2 closest connections, through which energy can flow. A teacher past the 3rd won’t be fully conscious of their own inner processes. Once past the 4th they will be fully aware of that. The etheric is a veil. The Guide doesn’t have to deal with that. Past the 4th the link is broken between the outer and high Inner Self, so the veils no longer function.

I saw clearly my teachers pass from the 3rd to the 4th. They changed completely at that time. But normal people may not have recognised it.
